Abstract

The Front Cover shows a demonstration of 11C-acetylation radiolabeling of small, medium, and large molecules. A rapid Pd0-mediated cross-coupling of radioactive [11C]methyl iodide and carboxytriphenylsilane was developed for synthesis of [2-11C]acetic acid and its active esters as 11C-acetylation reagents. The 11C-acetylated molecules can be used for in vivo PET imaging in the field of life science. More information can be found in the Full Paper by H. Doi et al.
