Abstract

The Front Cover illustrates the multiswitchable dihydroazulene–spiropyran dyad. It features eight different states that are accessible via irradiation, acid/base stimuli and thermal relaxation. Each state can act as a starting point (top nodes) or an ending point (bottom nodes) of a switching path. Blue lanes represent switching from 0 to 1, red lanes represent switching from 1 to 0. Cover design by Mathias Dowds. More information can be found in the Research Article by Martina Cacciarini, Mogens Brøndsted Nielsen and co-workers.
