Abstract

A pre-oxidation-precipitation strategy is adopted to construct Mn3+-rich manganese phosphate nanosheets (Mn3+-rich MnPi), which could afford abundant active sites and accelerate the kinetic process for the oxygen reduction reaction. The structurally flexible phosphate framework can effectively maintain structural stability. In contrast, the Mn3+-poor MnPi lacks sufficient active sites and is inefficient for the oxygen reduction reaction. More information can be found in the Research Article by Lin Yu et al.
