Abstract
The Front Cover illustrates the reaction conditions for the straightforward synthesis of oxygen heterocycles in Deep Eutectic Solvents. Similar to dandelions, which are objects of great natural beauty, design and efficiency in delivering fruits from their round heads, two Pd-catalysts work synergistically and efficiently in a choline chloride-based eutectic mixture to allow telescoped, one-pot reductive Mizoroki–Heck reactions between DHF or DHP and (hetero)aryl halides to successfully provide tetrahydrofuran or tetrahydropyran derivatives in up to 95 % yield.
