Abstract

The Front Cover illustrates the molecular interactions at the interface between a cyanoacrylate “super glue” and an oxidized metal substrate. Using various spectroscopic methods, it was shown that the cyanoacrylate polymer interacts with the metal oxide via hydrogen bonds. In addition, under the influence of water, an ionic interaction is formed via a carboxylate ion. Cover design by P. M., O. H. and Vaios Papaspyros. More information can be found in the Research Article by Philipp Moritz and co-workers.
