Abstract

Two A2BIBIII(NO3)6-type hybrid rare-earth double perovskites, (HQ)2RbEu(NO3)6 (HQ=quinuclidium) and (4FHQ)2RbEu(NO3)6 (4FHQ=4-fluoro-quinuclidium), exhibit excellent high-temperature ferroelasticity, dielectric switch, and high-efficiency photoluminescence response. The properties of the latter have been changed compared with the former through H/F substitution. The results reveal that H/F substitution provides an effective method for achieving novel properties, and more hybrid perovskites can be prepared.
