Abstract

Group 13 elements diversify the luminescent behavior of dialdiminate complexes. Aluminium and gallium complexes exhibit Lewis base-responsive emission, and aluminium enhances the responsiveness. The indium system encompasses ligand-exchange reactions in solution states, thus enabling us to alter the luminescence behavior dynamically. We also demonstrate their solid-state emissive properties involving aggregation- and crystallization-induced emission enhancement. More information can be found in the Research Article by K. Tanaka and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/chem.202300654).
