Abstract

The cover picture shows the arrangement of polyoxotungstate cages in the lattice of decakis(dimethylammonium)[dihydrogendodecatungstate] polymorphs, strong multifurcated bounds of cations and some water molecules via hydrogen bonds (represents by chains), which hinder free proton-deuterium isotope exchange. Inside the unit cells, there are water clusters, which can partially be deuterated, represented by an open door. At the same time, the wall of the associated polytungstate cages acts as a barrier against deuterium oxide molecules. We acknowledge Anita Rácz for the artwork.
