Food Res. 2022, 66, 202100884 DOI: 10.1002/mnfr.202100884 Clostridium Butyricum (CB), through its metabolite butyrate, inhibits fat deposition via suppressing white fat adipogenesis, which is associated with an increased number of adipose tissue-resident regulatory T cells. Mice received CB or butyrate are protected against diet-induced obesity and metabolic disorders.
