Abstract

The cartoon figure on the cover image is Monk Sha—a character in the Chinese story Journey to the West, who is honest, diligent, and carries all the luggage during the journey. B,B’-Arylene-bridged BIII 5,10,15-tritolylsubporphyrin dimers were obtained through Ni(cod)2-mediated reductive coupling of B-bromoaryl subporphyrins in one pot with considerable yields. The crystal structures of these dimers look like the magic wand of Monk Sha. The Chinese characters embedded in the linker are the abbreviation of Hunan Normal University.
