Abstract

Constructing high-efficient, low-cost and robust oxygen electrocatalysts toward rechargeable Zn–air batteries remains a big challenge. Herein, metallic Ni3Fe alloy nanoparticles encapsulated in 3D porous N-doped graphene aerogel was prepared through a facile hydrothermal assembly and calcination process. Inspired by the unique configuration and strong electronic interactions between Ni3Fe and N-doped graphene, Ni3Fe-GA1 exhibited outstanding activity and stability for OER, ORR, and Zn–air batteries.
