Abstract
The impact of a faith community nurse often goes untold due to confidentiality. This chapter is dedicated to reporting the value the faith community nurse brings to individuals, families, staff, the faith community, and community as a whole. The faith community nurse will be discussed in regard to education, program development, and the impact on the health and well-being of faith community members. The importance of the relationship of the faith community nurse with the faith leader and staff members is discussed. Systems of support are noted that can make a difference in health and recovery of individuals and families.
