Abstract
In this research internet addiction has been dealt with as predictor and predicted variable, this situation has been analyzed from the perspectives of loneliness and cognitive absorption and a tangible model has been put forth. Participant group has been constituted by 338 teacher candidates. Research data were collected using loneliness scale (α=.96), cognitive absorption scale (α=.90) and internet addiction scale (α=.95). On the data that was obtained; structural equation model were used. As a result: Loneliness levels of candidate teachers have significant and positive direction effect on internet addiction. On the other hand internet addiction of teacher candidates affects their loneliness levels in positive direction and significantly.

Because the aim of the investigation is the effect of internet addiction, cognitive absorption and loneliness perceived by teacher candidates, relational descriptive model in descriptive research model is used in this investigation, since descriptive research model is a suitable model for investigations to describe the present situation as it stands (Karasar, 2012)
As a result of the research two models that show the extent of effect of internet addiction, loneliness and cognitive absorption latent variables on each other and their explanation rate of each other have been put forth

Information technologies are the technologies that constitute basic dynamics of information society. With these technologies a brand new society structure has emerged.
