Abstract

For this edition of “From the Pages of AllergyWatch,” I have chosen articles from recent editions that highlight respiratory viruses and asthma, the theme of this month's Annals. The first article, with comments from Dr Knox, presents a meta-analysis suggesting that infants with rhinovirus bronchiolitis may be at higher risk for asthma than respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) bronchiolitis. The next article, with comments from Dr Joshi, examines the impact of asthma hospitalizations on academic performance in children.
