Abstract
For this edition of “From the Pages of AllergyWatch,” I have chosen articles from the January to February 2022 AllergyWatch. The first article, with comments from Dr Hernandez-Trujillo, presents evidence that younger children have lower rates of severe reactions to oral food challenges. The next article, with comments from Dr Knox, followed a prospective birth cohort, reporting that although most children outgrew their cow's milk sensitivity, many did have allergic diseases at adolescence. The previous article, with comments from Dr Chipps, presents follow-up data from the Childhood Asthma Management Program that identify risk factors for the development of severe persistent asthma in children.
