Abstract

For this issue of From the Pages of Allergy Watch, there are 3 reviews dealing with various aspects of drug allergy, the focus of this month’s Annals. The first review is from a study published in the Annals last year, which examines the safety of direct provocation challenges for patients with a diagnosis of penicillin allergy. The next review discusses the experience of a Danish allergy clinic on testing and challenging patients with a diagnosis of local anesthetic allergy. The last one is a review of data from patients reporting anaphylaxis after omalizumab.
