Abstract

For this edition of From the Pages of AllergyWatch, I've chosen articles from recent issues of AllergyWatch focusing on chronic rhinosinusitis, the main topic of this issue of Annals. The first article, with comments from Dr. Joshi, reports data showing that reduced sense of smell or taste is detrimental to QOL of patients with AERD. The next article, also with comments from Dr. Joshi, is a post-hoc analysis showing that dupilumab treatment helps improve sense of smell and taste in patients with CRSwNP. The third article, with comments from Dr. Lee, presented a report suggesting that a five-factor model can improve the prediction of recurrent nasal polyp risk after surgery for CRSwNP.
