Abstract

For this issue of “From the Pages of Allergy Watch,” I have chosen 3 recent reviews focusing on publications on diagnostic testing, the emphasis of this issue of the Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. The first was summarized by Dr Oppenheimer, who is also the co-author of this analysis of cost-effectiveness of various laboratory tests used for evaluation of chronic spontaneous urticaria. The next reviewed by Dr Lee compares the sensitivity of Ara h 2 with Ara h 6 to determine the better predictor of peanut allergy.
