Abstract

This issue of EMR is devoted to about systems and the application of systems engineering. Systems thinking is a widely adopted concept that appears in almost every professional discipline. The logic of looking for interactions between system components and emergent behaviors of systems resulting from these interactions is attractive and contributes an effective methodology for understanding complexity.
