Abstract

To the Editor: The Cochrane review “Interventions for cutaneous Bowen's disease,” published in 2013, examined the efficacies of various nonsurgical treatments for Bowen disease.1 The lack of available evidence limited the scope of the original review to nonsurgical interventions despite the authors' acknowledgment that many guidelines credit surgery as being inexpensive, safe, and effective.2
