Abstract

Many nonlinear optical scenarios, including the typical high-order harmonic radiation, can be initiated in crystals exposed to ultrashort strong lasers. According to the recent theoretical calculation, the high-order harmonic radiation can be modulated by exerting the strain on a monolayer aluminum nitride. Since the high-order harmonic spectra carry the structural information of the target, inversely, the radiated spectra can be used to extract the microstructure of the target and even the ultrafast electron dynamics.
