Abstract

Purpose: In May 2017 the Physiotherapists Care Skills Group (CSG) was formed in Leeds. The aim was to improve the wellbeing and independence of older people who are frail (FOPs) through encouraging good postural care and activity, underpinned by person centred care principles. The Skilful Care Training Package (SCTP) was developed, based on a review of the literature and available training packages, and through consensus meetings with members of the CSG.
