Abstract

Does the way we conceptualise young audiences affect their space for action in relation to art? This short text explores useful, theoretical perspectives for expand ing our thinking and approaches to young audiences. Introducing perspectives from queer theory, public pedagogy and art edu cation, the text explores how a move from pupil to public can open up new forms of experience in relation to art.
