Abstract

The concept of “pharmaceutical care” was developed in 2017 in Algeria to globally define the practice of clinical pharmacy. The EHU Oran pharmacovigilance department has thus benefited from the integration of pharmaceutical care to improve drug management. We report a clinical case of urticaria and angioedema in a 22-year-old female patient in a context of polymedication with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). A notification was sent to the pharmacovigilance department to estimate the causality assessment. The aim of our article is to illustrate the integration of pharmaceutical care system with the pharmacovigilance, based on this clinical case.
