Abstract
For many parents, a preschool setting is the first taste they have of entrusting their precious child to the care of a stranger. For others, it is a fairly natural move on from a nursery, childminder etc. Many parents feel nervous about their child going into a new setting, and for the majority of cases, the nerves are about their own issues and not because they do not think the child will thrive.
