Abstract

This note's simple aim is to describe observations of correspondences and approximate alignments between prehistoric stone rows on Dartmoor in southwestern England, and rivers, estuaries and the sea. Examples are also given of sites elsewhere in southwest England where similar correspondences may be found. The examples given here are intended to give a flavor of the phenomenon while a more complete catalog is being made.
