Has quantity been accompanied by quality and more importantly, by meaning? Nothing is less certain.‘ This issue, according to Yves Nacher, lies at the heart of any debate on the question “Whither museums?’ The author is an architect and head of mission at the French Architectural Institute; he is chairman of the French section of the International Forum of Young Architects (IFYA).
