Abstract

AbstractInvited for the cover of this issue is the group of Shie‐Ming Peng at the National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan. The cover image shows a “vending machine” that generates heteronuclear metal string complexes. By inserting coins, representing suitable ligands, into the machine and selecting the desired combination of buttons, representing the metal ions, tailored complexes can be prepared! These chain‐like complexes offer an excellent electron‐transporting platform with potential applications as functional molecular wires.
