Abstract
Environment representation and situation awareness are key issue for personal and service robotics. Recent research in mobile robotics mainly concentrated on environment representations for efficient and robust navigation (e.g. Simultaneous Localization and Mapping). However, personal robots need competences that go beyond navigation and thus environment representations that include relationships and semantics of objects.
