She has taught and worked at Harvard, Brown, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and the University of Vienna. Dabrowski is currently an associate at the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute, a member of the Board of Directors of the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences of America, and editor of H-Poland. She is the author of Poland: The First Thousand Years (2014; paperback edition, 2016) and Commemorations and the Shaping of Modern Poland (2004). In 2014, Dabrowski was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland.
