Abstract

On October 8, 2014, Clinical Psychopharmacology and Neuroscience (Clin Psychopharmacol Neurosci) was selected for coverage in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), 11 years after it was launched in 2003. Clin Psychopharmacol Neurosci is now the 34th journal published in Korea to be indexed in SCIE. Furthermore, with unanimous support from the executive committee and council members of the Asian College of Neuropsychopharmacology (AsCNP), Clin Psychopharmacol Neurosci was recently accepted as an associate journal for the AsCNP. Hence, Clin Psychopharmacol Neurosci's 12th volume issue 3 will be the first issue as the official journal of the Korean College of Neuropsychopharmacology (KCNP), and an associate journal of the AsCNP to be written in parallel. On this felicitous occasion, I would like to thank Professor Won-Myong Bahk, current president of the KCNP, and past presidents Professors Doh Joon Yoon, Young-Hoon Kim, Chang-Yoon Kim, and Jin-Sang Yoon for their continuous support, and to express my deep appreciation to all of the editorial board members and authors who have contributed with excellent work. Finally, I thank the AsCNP members who supported the appointment of Clin Psychopharmacol Neurosci as an associate journal of the AsCNP. Now, we have a new mission: to increase the citation index and impact factor by inviting more high-quality articles. To achieve this goal, we need your further support and contributions. There is a Chinese saying 靑奱之友, which means, Friends who have the same dream walk together. I hope that all of our Asian colleagues, as well as international scholars, will get to know each other better and build friendships and collaboration platforms through Clin Psychopharmacol Neurosci. Support us with your citations!
