Abstract
By appointment of the Most Rev. Pacificus M. Perantoni, O.F.M., Minister General of the Order of Friars Minor, the Rev. Alexander Wyse, O.F.M., has assumed the directorship of the Academy of American Franciscan History. The Academy, which ranks as a Studium Generale of the Franciscan Order, is directly subject to the jurisdiction of the highest superior of the Order, by whose authority appointments to its staff are made. The Decretum of Father Perantoni naming the new Director was dated at Rome, August 2, 1948.
