Abstract
Rings, rings, rings: A Friedel–Crafts intramolecular arylation for the synthesis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from aryl triazenes has been achieved. Polycyclic aromatic compounds consisting of five-, six-, and seven-membered rings can be prepared using this method.
