Abstract
The results of the effect of the parameters of the friction stir welding mode on the structure and mechanical properties of Al—Zn—Mg and Al—Zn—Mg—Cu aluminum alloys are presented. It is shown that the artificial ageing of welded joints allows to increase the level of their strength to 0.93...0.96 of the temporary resistance of the base metal in the T1 state.
