Abstract
The most common hypothesisis that regenerating parasympathetic fibers to sali-vary glands connect in error with the sweat glandsand subcutaneous blood vessels of the skin. Theonset has usually been 12 to 18 months after sur-gery. The most effective treatment has been subcu-taneous infiltration of botulinum toxin into the af-fected area.
