Abstract

In order to improve the fretting tribological properties of Ti-45Al alloy, the coating was prepared by laser cladding on the surface of Ti-45Al alloy using NiCrAlY mixed powder as raw material. The results showed that the microhardness of the coating was higher than that of Ti-45Al alloy, and its average hardness was about 401.8 HV. The fretting running state of the coating was obviously different from that of Ti-45Al alloy. The mixed sliding zone in NiCrAlY coating disappeared. The fretting wear morphology of the coating and the matrix was observed. The fretting wear resistance of the coating was significantly higher than that of Ti-45Al alloy.
