Abstract
According to this study: Children who had type 2 diabetes developed vision-threatening retinopathy after a shorter duration of diabetes and at a higher rate than children who had type 1 diabetes.Children who have type 2 diabetes may need eye examinations as frequently or more frequently than those who have type 1 diabetes.
