Abstract

AbstractDelivery of high‐frequency carriers to remote radio access units, which are fed by multimode fibers, is demonstrated with an agile tunable laser for the first time. The phase section of the tunable laser is modulated with a low‐frequency electrical signal resulting in an up‐conversion factor greater than 20. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
