Abstract

A single crystal thin film of 2-methyl-4-nitroaniline (MNA) for high efficiency phase-matched frequency doubling of a Nd:YAG laser (1.064 μm) was prepared. Experimental conversion efficiency for the phase-matched frequency doubling in a thin film waveguide structure was estimated at ∼0.03% at 0.6-kW input.
