Abstract

In this brief, a performance analysis of harmonically forced Lur'e systems with a slope-restricted nonlinearity is presented. The approach is based on the method of harmonic linearization (describing functions method). Conditions of applicability are derived and an estimate of the accuracy of this method is found. Theoretical results are illustrated by a case study and experimental results.
