Abstract

An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to measure Vibrio anguillarum serotype 1 antibody activity in sera collected from negative reference and from cohort-vaccinated and naturally exposed farmed rainbow trout Salmo gairdneri populations. Frequency histograms of each sample's absorbance values (OD) were prepared. Statistical distributions were fit to the data from the reference groups in order to determine seronegative suspect and seropositive cut-off levels
