Abstract

Abstract An aspirator, designed for operation on compressed air for the driving force, has been adapted to constant pressure “Freon” operation. A limiting orifice installed ahead of the jet permits calibration based on time which eliminates the need for a metering instrument to determine sample volume. “Freon” is delivered from standard low-pressure “throw-away” refrigeration service cans, and standard midget impingers are used.
