Abstract
After a period of hesitation due mainly to French internal problems and difficulties with the multinational structure of corporations operating from abroad, France welcomed foreign investors who have contributed to the improvement of the French Balance of Payments situation and the development of industrialization. By adopting a liberal policy concerning foreign investment, France contributes to the development of an integrated world economy.
