Abstract
A discontinuity was found in the slope of the freezing curves at the junction of the lambda curve and the freezing curve for the mixtures. The lambda line illustrated was determined by observing the rapid change in volume near the lambda point. At low temperatures, the freezing pressure of the mixtures becomes lower than that for pure He/sup 4/. Data are presented in graphical form. (L.N.N.)
