An account of the historic meeting and seminar at Chatham House led by Professor Graham Greenleaf describing work to provide free public online electronic access to legal material in Australia and the possibilities of emulating that success in the UK. Article by Laurence Eastham describing the seminar which ultimately led to the development of the British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII).
