Abstract
As John Baker explained, “Professor Jourdan has chosen a poor target for her critique of sign regulation.“ He was referring to an article she wrote for this journal that criticizes my book, Free Speech Law for On Premise Signs, and an earlier model ordinance and report I wrote on sign regulation. This reply corrects some of the mistakes in Professor Jourdan"s article and provides guidance for planners and planning lawyers who draft and defend sign regulations.
