Abstract

IT IS INDEED A PLEASURE to be here. The last time I spoke to you was from this platform about eighteen years ago at one of the meetings of the American Bankers Association. But it is a new experience for me to address the analysts as a group. Such a big assemblage as this simply overpowers me. We are beginning today a series of meetings in an atmosphere that I hope will make these meetings of great interest. I think your presence here at the Sixth Annual Convention of the National Federation of Financial Analysts Societies is perhaps much more significant than some of you realize. We are going through periods of changes.
