Abstract
Data fusion technique in wireless sensor network assists in enhancing the data quality in wireless sensor network. Unfortunately, it does it at the cost of energy and uncertainty of data forwarding. We have reviewed various existing data fusion schemes and found that the studies claim to have increase in throughput by using supportability of multipath, but very fewer studies have emphasized on reliable data fusion, considering assurity of data forwarding to destination. Therefore, we introduce a model called as Framework for Reliable Data Fusion in wireless sensor network in order to address these problems. The paper discusses about three core algorithm i.e. algorithm for (i) distributed tree construction, (ii) reliable data fusion, and (iii) data forwarding reliability. The outcome of the proposed system is found to excel superior with respect to energy saving and enhance communication performance in comparison to existing techniques.
