Abstract

ANALECTS FRANCISCAN BISHOPS With this issue Franciscan Studies commences publication of lists of Franciscan bishops compiled by an international group of researchers coordinated by Dom André Chapeau, O.S.B., in collaboration with Charles N. Bransom, Jr. Included in the present list are bishops chosen from the various reform groups which merged into the Order of Friars Minor in 1897. The value of these lists for historical inquiry explains their publication in this annual.
