Abstract
Due to lack of suitable framework to assess visibility of driver at road junction, this research endeavours to propose assessment framework using physical elements that combines landscape, street light, junction design & geometry and signage as variable category into a single framework. Variables identified from the literature were assessed to determine availability and suitability of variables to capture various ground conditions. The research identified, although most variables were presented at the study area however, there are some parameters require modification to suite with ground condition. This primarily for variables in the street light category that were found highly unidimensional. The application of the framework by relevant agencies hopes to be able to reduce road accident occurrences at road junction.
